Martian Technology LLC was founded on the belief that a small band of smart and talented folks can deliver technology that's more powerful and easier to use than products from "the majors".

Ok, so, in our case, the small band of smart and talented folks happen to come from Mars, but so what? Who ever said Martians didn't have software skills? Back on Mars, there are tons of Mac indie software shops (since the Mac has more than 90% market share there), and so we decided to come pitch in over on your pretty blue planet. Plus, as we mention elsewhere on this site, we've discovered we really like barbecue, which we just can't get at home.

Our first product, SlingShot, makes it really easy to keep folders and iTunes music in sync between multiple computers on your home or small office network. We've just added a second product, called LifeBoat, that you should check out too — it automates backups to removable devices like USB Flash Keys. We have lots of ideas for new stuff as well, so stay tuned.
